Private Residence

This stunning penthouse was designed to create a series of expanding views. The long entrance gallery features a series of paintings highlighted by state-of-the-art lighting. The gallery leads to the main living-dining space, where one encounters a dramatic, long view of downtown Columbus. Follow the tile wall of the contemporary fireplace and enter a cozy den, surprisingly nested in a corner of glass.

An office with pocketing, shoji-inspired contemporary doors borrows light from the clerestory windows, combining a clean, spacious look with privacy for an office.

The master suite has a floating vanity, open shower and Philippe Starck tub that combine to create a lyrical, playful feeling.

The kitchen cabinets were designed in charcoal grey-stained quarter-sawn fir with crossed veneers that give the cabinets depth while retaining a clean, crisp look. The white statuary marble island, stainless steel tops and glass tile walls all contribute to a consistent, warm, modern design.
